1. Healthcare Cloud Security Framework

Client: Major U.S. Healthcare Provider | Role: Senior Cloud Data Architect | Timeline: August 2021 – March 2022

This project was a massive undertaking, setting new security standards for cloud services in the healthcare sector. I co-authored a comprehensive security guideline covering over 40 Google Cloud services to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection across 185 hospitals. My role involved defining service enablement guidelines, implementing IAM roles, and designing a scalable security framework that could be adapted by various departments within the organization.

  • Highlights:
    • Developed a framework to guide secure deployment of Google Cloud services.
    • Implemented granular IAM roles and BigQuery Policy Tags for fine-tuned access control.
    • Co-authored the foundational Technical Design Document (TDD) to align development with compliance standards.

2. Analytics Modernization for State DMV

Client: Northeastern State DMV | Role: Cloud Data Architect | Timeline: October 2021 – March 2022

For this project, I spearheaded the overhaul of the Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) data analytics infrastructure, transitioning from legacy systems to Google’s BigQuery and Looker Studio. The aim was to enable real-time data insights and significantly improve operational decision-making.

    • Led the migration of data pipelines to BigQuery, enabling real-time analytics.
    • Built interactive dashboards in Looker Studio for streamlined reporting.
    • Provided documentation and training for DMV staff to ensure smooth adoption.

3. Sandbox Cloud Environment for Training

Client: New Jersey’s Largest Healthcare Company | Role: Senior Cloud Data Architect | Timeline: 2022 – Present

Recognizing the need for a safe, exploratory environment, I led the development of a sandbox organization for on-prem teams to experiment, train, and conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) projects on Google Cloud. This included setting up monitoring, shared VPCs, and security projects.

  • Highlights:
    • Created an isolated sandbox environment for secure, risk-free experimentation.
    • Trained on-prem teams in Terraform and Cloud Build fundamentals to enable resource deployment.
    • Facilitated the sandbox's role as a stepping stone for future production migrations.

Educational Sector Projects

4. Harmony Public Schools Infrastructure Modernization

Role: District Solutions Architect | Timeline: September 2019 – April 2021

At Harmony Public Schools, I managed and upgraded the IT infrastructure across 18 campuses, serving over 11,000 students. My work included network and server upgrades, implementing secure digital access, and integrating 5,000 Chromebooks into the school’s system. This initiative was essential for supporting modern education in a secure and efficient way.

    • Implemented centralized digital access for students and faculty, ensuring a streamlined learning experience.
    • Led the deployment and organization of Chromebooks, with efficient tracking and account management.

Long-Term Impact Projects

5. Citywide IP Telephony System for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality

Role: Lead Engineer | Timeline: April 2006 – February 2011

As the Lead Engineer, I orchestrated Istanbul's transition from a legacy phone system to a Cisco IP telephony infrastructure, covering over 50 municipal locations, including a remote office in Brussels. This project transformed the city’s communication capabilities, greatly improving internal and public-facing interactions.

  • Highlights:
    • Led the deployment of Cisco IP telephony across multiple critical locations, including large capacity installations in major municipal buildings.
    • Overhauled the call center’s infrastructure to significantly reduce wait times and improve service quality.
    • Reduced operational costs by connecting locations through fiber-connected telephony systems.

Personal & Ongoing Projects

6. The Pulse Method: Productivity & Clarity Framework

I’m developing The Pulse Method, a personal productivity and focus framework designed to maximize clarity and impact. It integrates structured time-blocking, focus routines, and prioritization to make each day highly productive and purpose-driven.

  • Current Progress:
    • Experimenting with various productivity methods and tech tools to refine the framework.
    • Developing content to potentially share The Pulse Method through a blog, podcast, or video series.
